Anna GORYACHEVA

Pianist - Educator - Entrepreneur

Anna Goryacheva is an internationally acclaimed pianist, recording artist, educator, and entrepreneur, praised for her deep musical expression, artistry, sparkling technique, and emotional power. Flaunt magazine celebrated her for her “charming velvety-beautiful sound and engaging interpretations," while LA Weekly described her as an “exceptional talent.”

 

She has appeared as a soloist with the Budapest Symphony, the Kaunas City Symphony, Kaliningrad State Symphony, and the Lithuanian National Philharmonic, and worked with celebrated performers including Lev Natochenny, Santiago Rodrigues, Pavel Berman, Igor Lazko, Vladimir Tropp, Avedis Kouyoumdjian, and Larry Livingston, among others. Her performances have been broadcast internationally in Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, Russia, Lithuania, and Sweden.

 

Anna holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Kaliningrad State Music College, a Master’s degree from the Gnessin Academy of Music in Moscow, and both an Artist Diploma and a Master’s Degree with high distinction from the USC Thornton School of Music in Los Angeles, where she studied under renowned pianist Daniel Pollack as a full scholarship recipient. She was inducted into Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honor Society (Eta Chapter, USC) for outstanding academic and artistic achievement.

 

Alongside her performing career, Anna has built a distinguished reputation as an educator and entrepreneur. She is a Steinway Educational Partner and the founder and director of the Elite Piano Institute in Los Angeles, a premier piano school recognized for training young pianists and mentoring teachers in the United States and abroad, including Japan, Australia, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Russia. Her expertise as a pedagogue has been highlighted by features in LA Weekly, Authority Magazine, Flaunt, Bold Journey, and other media outlets. As the founder of the Elite Piano Institute, she has become a cultural force in Los Angeles, shaping the next generation of pianists while continuing her global artistic journey.

 

Anna has also shared her expertise as a visiting faculty and guest speaker at Stetson University (Florida), and served as a staff pianist at USC Thornton School of Music, UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, and USC Kaufman School of Dance. In addition, she has presented at MTAC (Music Teachers Association of California) and frequently appears as a jury member for competitions and festivals, including CAPMT, MTNA, the Rachmaninoff International Piano Competition (Houston), among others.

 

Her recent projects include solo recordings of Philip Glass and a forthcoming debut album featuring music by Bach, Chopin, Satie, Debussy, Liszt, and Beethoven. She also collaborates with the Glissando Music and Arts Foundation as an artist and a distinguished judge, further extending her influence in the global music community. Honored as a Top Steinway Piano Teacher by Steinway & Sons Americas, she stands as both a guardian of classical tradition and a modern cultural figure.

 

She continues to expand her influence as a performer, teacher, and judge, uniting artistry, entrepreneurship, and pedagogy in a career that has established her as one of the most dynamic pianists and educators of her generation.
